Nathalie Boutet
Nathalie is an accomplished Family, Mediation and Collaborative Law Lawyer with over 20 years of practice. She is also the co-founder of NEXT Ltd., a globally focused, Toronto-based neurodesign company. NEXT is a pioneer in the emerging field of integrative mind life sciences, and is at the forefront of redefining how people relate to and use their brain.
Nathalie brings her professional experience to the classroom as a critically acclaimed international instructor of Collaborative Law and communication skills. Nathalie is also a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court.
Nathalie has been frequently called upon to advise the government and the Law Society of Upper Canada on policy development, and she regularly provides information to the media on legal matters.
In the interest of promoting wellness for family law clients, in 2012 Nathalie hosted the Neuro Family Law Conference, the first conference of its kind in Canada. This integrative approach will, among many things, help family law practitioners guide their clients toward making decisions from reason and empowerment rather than from anger or resentment, based on understanding how the brain works.
Nathalie obtained her Civil Law Degree from Laval University and her Common Law Degree from the University of Western Ontario.
